In 2024 the Lincoln County community passed a GO-Bond to build a new Career Technologies facility and renovate existing facilities at the South County (Waldport), Central County (Newport) and North County (Lincoln City) centers. The new OCATT facility design is nearing completion and Phase 1 construction began this fall with site clearing and the beginnings of underground work. Work will go on hold until February, after the worst of the winter weather, before construction begins in earnest.

Additional projects to upgrade access controls, security and HVAC are simultaneously underway.

Design for renovations to the Central County facility will begin in 2026.
